👤 User account and usage data

Depending on registration and use, VOQULI may process your name, email address, securely stored password hash, language settings, exercise progress, exercise history, XP, level and other account data required to operate the service.

This data is processed to provide user accounts, enable login, run exercises and display personal training progress.

🔑 Login and password reset

Sessions are used for login and protected areas. Forgotten-password resets use a time-limited reset process.

Emails are currently sent for registration/verification, password resets and confirmation of an email-address change. No newsletter is offered.

🍪 Cookies and sessions

VOQULI currently uses technically necessary session cookies for login, session management and protected functions. These cookies are required for the operation of the website. VOQULI currently does not use non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are introduced in the future, the required information and, where legally required, prior consent will be implemented.

📊 Hosting and technical logs

VOQULI is hosted by Hostinger. The server location used for the project is in Europe, the Netherlands. Server, access and connection data may be processed as part of technical operation.

💳 Premium and PayPal

PayPal is planned for paid Premium subscriptions, but it will only be activated after separate technical setup and testing. Until activation, VOQULI does not accept PayPal payments.

For a future PayPal payment, data required for payment processing will be transmitted to PayPal. VOQULI does not store full payment or credit-card details. PayPal’s privacy information and terms also apply.

🗑️ Deletion and retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by law. Where deletion is permitted, data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with technical and legal requirements.

⚖️ Your rights

Subject to applicable law, data subjects may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. For privacy enquiries: info@voquli.com

Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.

🏛️ Right to lodge a complaint

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (DSB), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, email: dsb@dsb.gv.at.

📋 Purposes and legal bases

Processing is carried out in particular to provide and administer user accounts and services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR), and, where required, on the basis of legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and technical operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where consent is required, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
